Albino Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gaston Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Aquilino Libertad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. La Tenes Adentro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Libertad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Desiderio Escobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Vicente Aguirre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Gaston Eladio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Vicente Aguirre could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Gaston Eladio however easily saved by the left post. Danilo Lope could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Gaston Eladio made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. La Tenes Adentro's zone, Danilo Lope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Eladio came out of the goal and Danilo Lope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th match minute, F.C. La Tenes Adentro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Janpier to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, one of Defensores de Belgrano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Danilo Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Eladio having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Defensores de Belgrano:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of F.C. La Tenes Adentro:s goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silverio Fernanco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, F.C. La Tenes Adentro's Desiderio Escobar threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silverio Fernanco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th minute, Vicente Aguirre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Eladio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Adolfo Garaona charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Garaona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Defensores de Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Garaona. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Teofilo Janpier managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. La Tenes Adentro's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Janpier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Escobar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desiderio Escobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Ekain in the 66th minute of play. Vicente Aguirre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute Rogelio Ceandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Defensores de Belgrano's Justo Romero was substituted for Albino Rioja. A collision led to F.C. La Tenes Adentro getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Silvio Farias hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes F.C. La Tenes Adentro got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Demesio. 89 minutes into the match, Defensores de Belgrano's Zeledon Chuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaston Eladio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rogelio Ceandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gaston Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Lope struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Gaston Eladio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Belgrano. When the referee ended the match the Defensores de Belgrano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
