If Generoso Su had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th minute, Luciano Cheche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luciano Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Cheche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filomeno Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Casado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Lucero having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Urti got free with Nereo Lucero in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Generoso Su struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Hernan Frechoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marucha FC. Cayetano Mingo charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cayetano Mingo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Cayetano Mingo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 30 minutes had been played. Cayetano Mingo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Damian Urti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Lucero having to interfere. Damian Urtis short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Nereo Lucero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luciano Cheche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filomeno Casado to make the kick off. If Filomeno Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Damian Urti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Guardia Imperial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Urti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marucha FC's Nereo Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Casado in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute Damian Urti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Marucha FC defense, Filomeno Casado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Lucero. The Marucha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Lucero should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute, Luciano Cheche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Casado in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Lucero saved Marucha FC from getting behind. Nereo Lucero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Filomeno Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marucha FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Guardia Imperial.
