Abelardo Tono's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Uriel Chabier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Abelardo Tono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uriel Chabier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Tono in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes Rodolfo Gimenez rounded Saladillo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Isidro Belarmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Rodolfo Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piamonte AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Gimenez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Piamonte AFC's Rodolfo Gimenez got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saladillo FC's Uriel Chabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Gimenez in the 30th minute of play. Dalmacio Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gustavo Lleir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piamonte AFC's Gustavo Lleir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Polentzi in the 36th minute of play. Abelardo Tono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Uriel Chabier made a huge save. After having played for 42 minutes, Abelardo Tono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leopoldo Urti's late challenge caught a Piamonte AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Urti helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Piamonte AFC booed when Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Urti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Eugenio Etxepare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saladillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piamonte AFC the free kick. Eugenio Etxepare hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Piamonte AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Fernandes in the 53rd minute. If Wilfredo Polentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Lleir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Piamonte AFC booed when Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Gimenez in the 63rd minute of play. Sixto Grabiel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Uriel Chabier. Saladillo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Gimenez in the 71st minute of play forced Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Uriel Chabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Tipi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo Lleir, 1-1. If Jairo Muc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Piamonte AFC's Rodolfo Gimenez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Chabier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leopoldo Urti was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Leopoldo Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Tono in the 84th minute of play forced Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Uriel Chabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Gimenez struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Uriel Chabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piamonte AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Wilfredo Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saladillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Polentzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Lleir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugenio Etxepare got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eugenio Etxepare kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Fausto Fernandes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Uriel Chabier. Saladillo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
