A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Asur in the 13th minute of play forced Defensores de Belgrano's goalkeeper Desiderio Escobar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Defensores de Belgrano's Desiderio Escobar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de Belgrano from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jeronimo Asur sped through Defensores de Belgrano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Desiderio Escobar. Desiderio Escobar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A collision led to Defensores de Belgrano getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ruperto Benvide hit a great ball. After 32 minutes, Danilo Lope mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Belgrano and the Blackout Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Danilo Lope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Defensores de Belgrano's Desiderio Escobar got control of the ball when Jeronimo Asur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blackout Team's Nestor Dubardo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zeledon Chuan in the 37 minute of the game. If Vicente Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Zeledon Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Txomin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Desiderio Escobar made a huge save. Desiderio Escobar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeronimo Asur in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Asur in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desiderio Escobar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Adolfo Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Adolfo Garaona was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Cosme Tano didn't quite understand what happened when in the 70 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Ruperto Benvide came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Defensores de Belgrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Benvide couldn't finish the play. Zeledon Chuan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Josselin Bardoux. Blackout Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeronimo Asur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Escobar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Blackout Team's Jeronimo Asur got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
