Blas Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Damian Urti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Rami kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Sunchu FC booed when La Guardia Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Barto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Roland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Samuel Guillen put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hernan Frechoso. When Marcelino Telesforo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Guardia Imperial's protests and gave Marcelino Telesforo a yellow card for diving instead. 33 minutes into the game, one of La Guardia Imperial:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Sunchu FC. Celestino Froila stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hernan Frechoso. 2-0. After 37 played minutes Sunchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Reynardo. A collision led to Sunchu FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gonzalo Reynardo hit a great ball. Siro Pabla, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Filomeno Casado might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Sindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Casado ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th match minute, Sunchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Reynardo to maneuver through the defense. If Damian Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filomeno Casado was the one to do the kick off. Filomeno Casado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Blas Sindo came out and tried to block the shot, but Filomeno Casado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 58th minute. If Filomeno Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damian Urti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Blas Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Frechoso having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Sunchu FC's Horacio Baleren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Frechoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damian Urti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blas Sindo having to make a save. Florentino Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Frechoso having to interfere. Damian Urtis short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Blas Sindo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Filomeno Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Roland in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
