After a defensive mix-up in Lanus F.C.'s zone, Paulo Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Izotz came out of the goal and Paulo Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliberto Izotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Machado in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Paulo Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Su fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Izotz having to interfere. The supporters of Lanus F.C. booed when Oeste FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Costante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Uhin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliberto Izotz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Machado in the 40th minute. Paulo Machado came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Feliberto Izotz could save by the left post. Paulo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 60th match minute, Oeste FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Costante to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Lanus F.C. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Edgardo Uhin hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Paulo Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliberto Izotz. Lanus F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 86th minute, Fabian Su made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Izotz. Lanus F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Edgardo Uhin hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Fabian Su managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oeste FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Su was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oeste FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
