Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcelo Abalos got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Javier Godoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciénaga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oeste FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ciénaga fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! Cleto Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Anier Ibon hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Paulo Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Cordarin was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16th match minute, Ciénaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Vincente to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Paulo Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cleto Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Cordarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Su in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Paulo Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oeste FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Cordarin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36th play minutes Paulo Machado shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Sergio Cordarin and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Machado in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Cordarin saved Ciénaga from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd match minute, Oeste FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Hermengildo Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Roderigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Cordarin having to interfere. Sergio Cordarin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Machado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 58 minute of play. Enrique Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paulo Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oeste FC's Cleto Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ciénaga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Machado was slow to take the kick. During this time Oeste FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Ignacio Felipillo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ciénaga's Orlando Sugar collided with an opponent after 74 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his nose and had to leave the field. A collision led to Oeste FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Elvio Sotero hit a great ball. Enrique Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Paulo Machado took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Sergio Cordarin to make any attempt to save it. Ciénaga's Mauro Oier got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermengildo Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Oier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Sergio Cordarin managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Oeste FC's Paulo Machado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Mauro Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oeste FC played a much better game than Ciénaga and deserved their victory. The Ciénaga players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
