Sergio Cordarin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mauro Oier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Blanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Mauro Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Blanco having to interfere. Roque Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Oier in the 14th minute of the match. Roque Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Abalos in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Marcelo Abalos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Roque Blanco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Marcelo Abalos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roque Blanco. Antofagasta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Abalos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Roque Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Antofagasta's Roque Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Oier in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Maximiliano Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antofagasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Vimaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcelo Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Paulo Kemen's late challenge caught a Ciénaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Kemen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Paulo Kemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciénaga's Marcelo Abalos got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Paulo Kemen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antofagasta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Paulino Buinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Roque Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Marcelo Abalos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roque Blanco, 3-3. Mauro Oier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Roque Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marcelo Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Abalos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roque Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Ibon in the 76th minute of play. Roque Blanco made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Mauro Oier sent off a good shot on target. Roque Blanco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-4. Ciénaga's Sergio Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Kemen in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Paulo Kemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergio Cordarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Orain in the 90th minute of the match. Marcelo Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
