The supporters of Oeste FC booed when Estudiantes De La Plata ! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Nesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Bingen came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes De La Plata !'s 傅磊青. But to his dismay, 傅磊青 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Placido Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Clemente Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Paulo Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Meder was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Hermengildo Bingen was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Bruno Marz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruno Marz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Machado was the one to do the kick off. Hermengildo Bingen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristobal Burni went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Bruno Marz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Bingen. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Estudiantes De La Plata !'s goalie and right to Ignacio Felipillo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Estudiantes De La Plata !'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Estudiantes De La Plata !'s Clemente Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Machado in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Oeste FC's goal looked a bit too open when 傅磊青 came free, but Hermengildo Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes De La Plata !'s Krasimir Banski got a free kick in the 90th minute. If 傅磊青 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
