Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Machado in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Servando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Oeste FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Francisco Eladio hit a great ball. After 10 minutes of play, Godofredo's Nestor Pasqual made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermengildo Bingen was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Paulo Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Paulo Machado sped through Godofredo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evaristo Servando. After a defensive mix-up in Godofredo's zone, Paulo Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Servando came out of the goal and Paulo Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Godofredo's Evaristo Servando got control of the ball when Paulo Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Godofredo's goalkeeper Evaristo Servando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Javier Bikendi fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Godofredo's protests and gave Javier Bikendi a yellow card for diving instead. If Fabian Su had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Machado struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Evaristo Servando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oeste FC. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Godofredo's goalkeeper Evaristo Servando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Machado was the one to do the kick off. Elvio Sotero struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Evaristo Servando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oeste FC. After 73 played minutes Godofredo got a freekick which was hit by Javier Bikendi. After having played for 75 minutes, Celso Paez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Godofredo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Paez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Aztore charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervasio Aztore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oeste FC's Cleto Marquez was substituted for Placido Paz. In a very dangerous position, a player in Godofredo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Evaristo Servando had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Paulo Machado's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Evaristo Servando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Machado's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Paulo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Cristos during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Oeste FC booed when Godofredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Oeste FC fully deserved thier win.
