Benito Gabon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. C.A. Toro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Natalio Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Shepherd in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when C.A. Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to C.A. Toro getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Carolo Txatxu hit a great ball. Real Madrid's Aquilino Shepherd got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Azeari. Ismael Fonda kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Benito Gabon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 49th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Evarado got free with Juan Ellande in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Gabon to make the kick off. Aquilino Shepherd who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Natalio Iago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Leonel Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquilino Shepherd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Natalio Iago made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Evarado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Ellande was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Jeronimo Evarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's Leonel Gurutz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natalio Iago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeronimo Evarado scored 1-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Ellande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Primitivo Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Jeronimo Evarado came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the C.A. Toro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Evarado couldn't finish the play. Juan Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Gabon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquilino Shepherd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, C.A. Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Gurutz came free, but Natalio Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A. Toro had won after a very even match.
