Salvador Firmin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antonio Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Valiente in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Sabino got free with Salvador Firmin in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norberto Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Salvador Firmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes La Chelita got a freekick which was hit by Elias Oso. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Sabino got free with Salvador Firmin in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute, Samuel Sabino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Firmin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

Salvador Firmin came out of the goal and Javier Peruxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Peruxu in the 96th minute of play forced La Chelita's goalkeeper Salvador Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of San Andreas booed when La Chelita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Buinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that San Andreas were the better team. San Andreas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
