Cornelio Mero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Natalio Iago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cornelio Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Potrerillos's Fermin Tirso got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natalio Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Tirso in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the C.A. Toro defense, Fermin Tirso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natalio Iago. The C.A. Toro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natalio Iago should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Potrerillos's Cornelio Mero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natalio Iago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeronimo Evarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Mero took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natalio Iago. Natalio Iago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeronimo Evarado made a kick off. Potrerillos's Patricio Gilen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Evarado in the 54th minute of play. If Jeronimo Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raul Socorro's late challenge caught a Potrerillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Socorro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Potrerillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Hartz to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Primitivo Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Tirso in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Tirso in the 74th minute of play forced C.A. Toro's goalkeeper Natalio Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Iago having to interfere. When Fermin Tirso came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Potrerillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Tirso couldn't finish the play. C.A. Toro:s Natalio Iago showed great skill when he stopped Baltasar Garcia:s penalty. If Cornelio Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of C.A. Toro booed when Potrerillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Tonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Tirso in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Tirso in the 93rd minute of play forced C.A. Toro's goalkeeper Natalio Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes, Primitivo Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Toro and the Potrerillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes C.A. Toro got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Perez. If Cornelio Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
