Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Sedeni in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Oalo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 19 minutes, Luis Inge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tatay FC and the Utracán players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Inge hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Santos Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Birila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Benito Urbes made a huge save. Utracán's Benito Urbes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Utracán from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, Tatay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Mannie to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Birila got free with Benito Urbes in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustino Mannie made a kick off. Lorenzo Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Sedeni in the 58th minute of the match. Lorenzo Oalo made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Aristides Espiridion sent off a good shot on target. Evelio Sedeni might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenzo Oalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evelio Sedeni ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Santos Birila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Urbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
