Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Jayvier came free, but Natalio Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Jayvier, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Erasmo Jayvier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Toro's Natalio Iago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natalio Iago came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Esperanza FC's Erasmo Jayvier. But to his dismay, Erasmo Jayvier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Erasmo Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Perez during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute of the match Angelo Frasco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natalio Iago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Jeronimo Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Jayvier in the 45th minute of the match. The C.A. Toro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Esperanza FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Gabon was the one to do the kick off. Esperanza FC's Adolfo Oriche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Gabon in the 53rd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Esperanza FC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Ixona. Maximo Calixto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Natalio Iago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. During the 63rd minute of the match Primitivo Perez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Primitivo Perez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Esperanza FC booed when C.A. Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Evarado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Adolfo Oriche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Socorro struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Adolfo Oriche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Toro. Erasmo Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th play minute Maximo Calixto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Natalio Iago. 0-2. After having played for 81 minutes, Erasmo Jayvier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Jayvier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Jayvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Iago having to interfere. Esperanza FC's Maximo Calixto got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Erasmo Jayvier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Iago was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Maximo Calixto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximo Calixto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Natalio Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Jayvier in the 94th minute of play. Maximo Calixto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
