After a defensive mix-up in Mercedes's zone, Desiderio Indartsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Naldo came out of the goal and Desiderio Indartsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Selmo during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mercedes's Sergio Naldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Mercedes from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Indartsu in the 30th minute of play forced Mercedes's goalkeeper Sergio Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Fabian Selmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Corderun. ©⦸ℵ৳⟔⦸⌡ ℳ⟑⊂ℌ∋৳∋'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Selmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goalkeeper Sergio Naldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernan Elequemedo. The wind increased when Wilfredo Tancredo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mercedes getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Teodoro Suero hit a great ball. Angelo Gitano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Naldo having to make a save. In the 64th minute, Fernan Elequemedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ©⦸ℵ৳⟔⦸⌡ ℳ⟑⊂ℌ∋৳∋ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Sergio Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Elequemedo in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Elequemedo came free, but Sergio Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fernan Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sergio Naldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Elequemedo's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
