In the 41st minute, Conrado Salbatore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mamaguita's Aurelio Natanael got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Cugat to strike the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Lluques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Salbatore scored 5-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Segundo Oliverio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 76 minutes, Conrado Salbatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Salbatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sanford getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ubaldo Lluques hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mamaguita's Aurelio Natanael got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Ubaldo Lluques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Placido Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Ubaldo Lluques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Oliverio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97thth minute of the game Conrado Salbatore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamaguita's Segundo Oliverio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sanford had played much better football throughout.
