Tadeo Leocadio hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Ubaldo Chuse sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Segundo Oliverio skillfully saved the ball. After 39 played minutes Mamaguita got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Leocadio. Mamaguita's Segundo Oliverio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Dalmai in the 41st minute of play. Segundo Oliverio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Dalmai went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Segundo Oliverio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Marin in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Eloy Dalmai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardozos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Dalmai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Oliverio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute Ruben Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Oliverio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Saverio Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ruben Donio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Cardozos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Donio couldn't finish the play. Eloy Dalmai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mamaguita's zone, Eloy Dalmai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Oliverio came out of the goal and Eloy Dalmai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Oliverio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Donio, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute of the match, Ruben Donio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Segundo Oliverio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cardozos AFC's Ruben Donio got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos Mogel kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Cardozos AFC's Joaquin Marin got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute.
