Gigante Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Belasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes, Ildefonso Karlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gigante Futbol Club and the Chatran FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gigante Futbol Club getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ildefonso Karlo hit a great ball. Cristo Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Rius Rulan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gigante Futbol Club. Rius Rulan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Belasko in the 19th minute of play. Cristo Alvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rius Rulan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes in the game, Victor Pepillo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tomás Abarca having to interfere. Rius Rulan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Chumo in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Jesus Belasko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rius Rulan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chatran FC's Rius Rulan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Rodriguez in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Chatran FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Ramos to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Alvarez to make the kick off. A collision led to Chatran FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Christian Oroitz hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristo Alvarez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rius Rulan. That made the score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Chatran FC's Victor Pepillo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Abarca was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, Jesus Belasko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Belasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rius Rulan having to interfere. Rius Rulan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Rius Rulan made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alvaro Mark sent off a good shot on target. Jesus Belasko took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rius Rulan. Rius Rulan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 88 minutes into the match, Gigante Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Pepillo came free, but Tomás Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Karlo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes, Chatran FC's Christian Oroitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomás Abarca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chatran FC reached it. Jesus Belasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rius Rulan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigante Futbol Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
