An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Rufo in the 12th minute of play forced Ombucta's goalkeeper Camilo Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Muc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Rojelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Hernan Libertad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Damian Frasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ombucta's Camilo Muc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ombucta from getting a goal against them. Vicente Rufo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Camilo Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Erdiano in the 30th minute of play. Anacleto Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Jonas Rojelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. InDePeNdIeNtE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Rojelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Muc having to interfere. After the first half Ombucta were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute Vicente Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The InDePeNdIeNtE fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when InDePeNdIeNtE's Jonas Rojelio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Rufo in the 60th minute of play forced Ombucta's goalkeeper Camilo Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, InDePeNdIeNtE's Damian Frasco got control of the ball when Benjamin Orti tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Ombucta's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Rufo came free, but Camilo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Rojelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Muc having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, InDePeNdIeNtE's Delmiro Eron made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Muc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonas Rojelio took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Muc. Camilo Muc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. InDePeNdIeNtE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
