The supporters of La Madrid F.C. booed when InDePeNdIeNtE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Rojelio in the 34th minute of play. Guillermo Beila came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by InDePeNdIeNtE's Vicente Rufo. But to his dismay, Vicente Rufo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Marcelo Lartaun took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Frasco. Damian Frasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Guido Virila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leandro Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Vicente Rufo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Beila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Rufo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to La Madrid F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Marcelo Lartaun hit a great ball.
