Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benito Fe kicked off to start the match. Racing Club de Caseros's Paulo Espiridion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club de Caseros from getting a goal against them. After 20 played minutes Rosso FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Felo. In the 26th match minute, Racing Club de Caseros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Ovando to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes, Rosso FC's Eliseo Nesto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Espiridion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rosso FC reached it. Dante Felo might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Espiridion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Felo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Haroldo Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Haroldo Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dante Felo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Rosso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Felo couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Sasoin to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Felo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 53 minutes, Leonides Etxepare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club de Caseros and the Rosso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Leonides Etxepare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Dante Felo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Felo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Espiridion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Fe in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Rosso FC booed when Racing Club de Caseros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Felo in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Espiridion saved Racing Club de Caseros from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Racing Club de Caseros's Benigno Eliazar got a free kick in the 76th minute. The supporters of Rosso FC booed when Racing Club de Caseros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Bernat didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club de Caseros's zone, Dante Felo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Espiridion came out of the goal and Dante Felo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dante Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Pierres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Paulo Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
