Aquilino Gurutz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Tirso came out and tried to block the shot, but Aquilino Gurutz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Villeros's Benjamin Eladio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuel Tirso. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. Joel Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Benigno Pitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Joel Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayo Rosarino's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Medardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Pitin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Baladi in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Pitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amado Libertad hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Aquilino Gurutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Manuel Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Los Villeros's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Medardo came free, but Benigno Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomero Chale's late challenge caught a Los Villeros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Chale helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rayo Rosarino fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! 39 minutes into the match, Los Villeros's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Medardo came free, but Benigno Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Manny kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Joel Medardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Pitin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Medardo ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

57 minutes into the match, Los Villeros's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Baladi came free, but Benigno Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Baladi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Pitin having to make a save. Teo Baladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Pitin having to interfere. Joel Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Benigno Pitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Anier Eladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Eladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tirso having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Teo Baladi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rayo Rosarino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Benjamin Eladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Villeros were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rayo Rosarino for a fine match.
