Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rolando Rosario made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Libertad in the 6th minute of play forced Napoleón's goalkeeper Marcial Tonete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Tonete came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Villeros's Ovidio Manny. But to his dismay, Ovidio Manny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcial Tonete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Gurutz in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Zeledon Gagriel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Napoleón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Villeros the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Napoleón fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Los Villeros a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Justino Llorienzo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Napoleón's Marcial Tonete. 0-2. Benigno Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Gagriel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Los Villeros's zone, Rolando Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Pitin came out of the goal and Rolando Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Villeros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Rolando Rosario scored to the left of an out of position Benigno Pitin, making the score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Honorato Bibiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Napoleón's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Bibiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Pitin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeledon Gagriels short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Benigno Pitin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 45 minutes into the match, Napoleón's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Libertad came free, but Marcial Tonete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Los Villeros's Benigno Pitin got control of the ball when Rolando Rosario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Gurutz to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Aquilino Gurutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Tonete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Amado Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Rosario in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Pitin saved Los Villeros from getting behind. If Salvador Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salvador Leizarraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benigno Pitin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Zeledon Gagriel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napoleón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Gagriel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Los Villeros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Libertad to maneuver through the defense.
