The referee ignored Napoleón's protests and gave Salvador Leizarraga a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Napoleón got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Leizarraga. Alberto Rey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rolando Rosario showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Paulo Gaitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Rolando Rosario put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alberto Rey. Napoleón's Marcial Tonete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Beltxe in the 30th minute of play. Alberto Rey made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Eusebio Lugo sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Rosario in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alberto Rey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zeledon Gagriel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Pierres in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Tonete prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rosso FC's Alberto Rey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Rosso FC from getting a goal against them. Rolando Rosario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Alberto Rey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benito Fe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game, Benito Fe fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcial Tonete having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rosso FC's zone, Paulo Gaitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Rey came out of the goal and Paulo Gaitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Rosario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alberto Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Rey having to interfere. Dante Felos short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Marcial Tonete to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benito Fe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximiliano Beltxe charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Beltxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximiliano Beltxe kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Benito Fe hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Alberto Rey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Rosario's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Rolando Rosario made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Rey. Rosso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 90 minutes into the match, Rosso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Rosario came free, but Alberto Rey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Eusebio Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napoleón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Lugo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Rosario hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
