With an all-out effort, Burmeister FC's Godfredo Garoa threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximino Maxin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Julio Ermano might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godfredo Garoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julio Ermano ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximino Maxin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Godfredo Garoa came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximino Maxin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Rosario Canalla's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Maxin came free, but Godfredo Garoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Ermano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Garoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Maxin in the 32nd minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Maximino Maxin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burmeister FC and the Rosario Canalla players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Burmeister FC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Theodore. The crowd rose to their feet as Burmeister FC's Patricio Montez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Godfredo Garoa. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Maxin made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Canalla's zone, Julio Ermano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Garoa came out of the goal and Julio Ermano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everardo Pero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Clemencin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Marcial Clemencin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Tohias in the 71st minute of the match. Godfredo Garoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Maxin in the 73rd minute of play. Godfredo Garoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Isidoro Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Tohias in the 82nd minute of play forced Burmeister FC's goalkeeper Marcial Clemencin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Garoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Ermano in the 83rd minute of play. Maximino Maxin struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Godfredo Garoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burmeister FC. Rosario Canalla's Godfredo Garoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Maxin in the 88th minute of play. Rosario Canalla's Mauricio Tuste got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Mauricio Tuste off the ground. A collision led to Rosario Canalla getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Mauricio Tuste hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Burmeister FC's Teo Arias broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Godfredo Garoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Ermano's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rosario Canalla players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Burmeister FC.
