The audience was convinced that Teo Baladi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Raymon was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. If Teo Baladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canquel AFC's Leopoldo Calixto got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, one of Rayo Rosarino:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rayo Rosarino. Francisco Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Baladi in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Teo Baladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Leopoldo Calixto made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Tirso. Rayo Rosarino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 29th minute Leo Benat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Rayo Rosarino got a corner. Canquel AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modesto Txaran ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leo Benat was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Francisco Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Leopoldo Calixto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canquel AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Calixto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Tirso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Medardo was the one to do the kick off. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Rayo Rosarino's Modesto Txaran got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Francisco Raymon. In the 71st minute, Baldomero Chale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Canquel AFC's Romulo Geleberto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Leo Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Teo Baladi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rayo Rosarino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Teo Baladi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 91 minutes into the match, Canquel AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Medardo came free, but Francisco Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Canquel AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Elorri to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Modesto Txaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
