The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caballo de Troya fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Jorge Bartoleme placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 19th match minute, Caballo de Troya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Jerold to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes Caballo de Troya got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Ponce. After a rather tough play, Zaparinqui AFC's Patricio Lizardi got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37thth minute of the game Jorge Bartoleme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caballo de Troya's Armando Guillelme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albano Argina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Hibai was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jorge Bartoleme sped through Caballo de Troya's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Guillelme. Gerardo Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Roman Elija made a huge save. In the 61st minute Ermegildo Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Elija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Jorge Bartoleme made a precise shot to the right of Armando Guillelme. Caballo de Troya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Armando Guillelme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Bartoleme in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Caballo de Troya defense, Jorge Bartoleme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Guillelme. The Caballo de Troya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Guillelme should have stopped the shot. Armando Guillelme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Bartoleme in the 92nd minute of the match. Armando Guillelme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Bartoleme, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zaparinqui AFC had won after a very even match.
