Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Everardo Arixo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, Faro's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bermudez came free, but Pedro Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Inocente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Cortez having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Lino Lartaun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faro and the Caribbean Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lino Lartaun hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Sixto Costante took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Cortez. Faro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Everardo Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19thth minute of the game Narciso Inocente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faro's Pedro Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nemesio Haitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Arixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Inocente struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Pedro Cortez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caribbean Club. 32 minutes into the match, Caribbean Club's Luis Bermudez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Cortez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santo Licerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Santo Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Narciso Inocente made the kick off in the second half. Caribbean Club's Luis Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Everardo Arixo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nemesio Haitz. Caribbean Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Everardo Arixo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Arixo in the 63rd minute of play forced Caribbean Club's goalkeeper Nemesio Haitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Chesus charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Chesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robustiano Chesus kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Luis Bermudez came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Caribbean Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Bermudez couldn't finish the play. Narciso Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Cortez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bonifacio Quin. After 95 played minutes Caribbean Club got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Harri. The Faro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Caribbean Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Caribbean Club.
