Gerardo Hibai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Hibai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Pedro Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

59 minutes into the match, Caballo de Troya's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Arixo came free, but Armando Guillelme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Guillelme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Licerio in the 64th minute of the match. If Gerardo Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gerardo Hibai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caballo de Troya's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Hibai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 83 minutes, Gerardo Hibai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballo de Troya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Hibai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Armando Guillelme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Ponce's late challenge caught a Faro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A nice corner shot did that Juan Diaz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Armando Guillelme quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Everardo Arixo during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 97 played minutes Faro got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Arixo.
