The goalkeeper, Roman Elija, was totally fooled by Boca Unidos's Severino Rumaldo, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Eduardo Laurentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zaparinqui AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Laurentzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Victoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Bartoleme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Eduardo Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Tohias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Roman Elija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Bartoleme in the 26th minute of play forced Boca Unidos's goalkeeper Teodoro Victoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Victoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Heriberto in the 28th minute of play. Roman Tohias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Roman Elija made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Emenon in the 35th minute of play forced Boca Unidos's goalkeeper Teodoro Victoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Teodoro Victoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermengildo Emenon's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Eduardo Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Teodoro Victoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Mingo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Zaparinqui AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Bartoleme. When Boca Unidos's Oscar Mingo in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zaparinqui AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Zaparinqui AFC's Jorge Bartoleme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodoro Victoro. That made the score 1-2 after 54 minutes of play. When Zaparinqui AFC's Jorge Bartoleme in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca Unidos's goalie prevented a goal. Teodoro Victoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Bartoleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Emenon got free with Teodoro Victoro in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Stanislao charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 69th minute, Teobaldo Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Zaparinqui AFC's Jorge Bartoleme in action when he in the 71st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 80th minute, Roman Tohias made a precise shot to the right of Roman Elija. Zaparinqui AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. 84 minutes into the match, Jorge Bartoleme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodoro Victoro, 3-5. In the 88thth minute of the game Jorge Bartoleme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Unidos's Teodoro Victoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 played minutes, Zaparinqui AFC's Patricio Lizardi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodoro Victoro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zaparinqui AFC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Ricart in the 96th minute of play forced Zaparinqui AFC's goalkeeper Roman Elija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Zaparinqui AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
