When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Faro's Juan Diaz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Teodoro Victoro. Roman Tohias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roman Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Victoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Arixo in the 15th minute of the match. Santo Licerio struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Teodoro Victoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faro. Haroldo Stanislao hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Everardo Arixo's late challenge caught a Boca Unidos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Arixo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Boca Unidos booed when Faro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Arixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Boca Unidos's goalkeeper Teodoro Victoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Licerio. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Diaz during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roman Tohias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Cortez having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Ulises Eneto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faro and the Boca Unidos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulises Eneto kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Severino Rumaldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Cortez skillfully saved the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Boca Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Licerio came free, but Teodoro Victoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Denis Estevon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Arixo in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Victoro saved Boca Unidos from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Benito Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Boca Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Licerio came free, but Teodoro Victoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santo Licerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Victoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santo Licerio ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the game, Haroldo Stanislao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teodoro Victoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Faro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
