Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Roman Elija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Inocente in the 5th minute of play. Hermengildo Emenon took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nemesio Haitz. Nemesio Haitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Caribbean Club booed when Zaparinqui AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Urre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 minutes, Patricio Lizardi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zaparinqui AFC and the Caribbean Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Patricio Lizardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Hermengildo Emenon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zaparinqui AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jorge Bartoleme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Eduardo Laurentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zaparinqui AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Laurentzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Haitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Zaparinqui AFC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Zaparinqui AFC's Jorge Bartoleme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nemesio Haitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Bartoleme's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Jorge Bartoleme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nemesio Haitz. Caribbean Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Bartoleme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Bartoleme was the one to do the kick off. Alvaro Harri hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A hard shot 58 in the game by Hermengildo Emenon from a close distance when the talented Nemesio Haitz managed to make a qualified save. Caribbean Club's players were relieved. Nemesio Haitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Bartoleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Laurentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Haitz stood somewhat misplaced when Jorge Bartoleme came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 66 minute. In the 71st minute, Cleto Ferrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Haitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Bartoleme in the 74th minute of the match. Caribbean Club's Nemesio Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Laurentzi in the 82nd minute of play. Nemesio Haitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Bartoleme in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Bartoleme in the 88th minute of play forced Caribbean Club's goalkeeper Nemesio Haitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Zaparinqui AFC got a corner. Caribbean Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Bartoleme ran over to the corner to take the kick. Victoriano Urtungo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in Caribbean Club's zone, Jorge Bartoleme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Haitz came out of the goal and Jorge Bartoleme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zaparinqui AFC played a much better game than Caribbean Club and deserved their victory. The Caribbean Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
