Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Everardo Arixo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3rd play minutes Manuel Martino shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Pedro Cortez and just under the crossbar into goal. Sebastian Txema could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Pedro Cortez made a huge save. 8 minutes into the game, one of Faro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the Faro defense, Nestor Matxin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Cortez. The Faro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Cortez should have stopped the shot. Ismael Jerrold lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 13th minute, one of AC KAYSERKER:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC KAYSERKER. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Faro. Juan Diaz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Romulo Liberto. 2-2. Ulises Eneto's late challenge caught a AC KAYSERKER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Eneto helped the player get up and apologised. Santo Licerio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romulo Liberto having to make a save. If Everardo Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Everardo Arixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Liberto having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Faro's Everardo Arixo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romulo Liberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Txema to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Everardo Arixo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romulo Liberto. The goal made the score 2-3. Pedro Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Txema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Txema in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Cortez saved Faro from getting behind. Santo Licerio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Liberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AC KAYSERKER's zone, Santo Licerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Liberto came out of the goal and Santo Licerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romulo Liberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Arixo's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Santo Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Romulo Liberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Everardo Arixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Arixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
