Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Zaparinqui AFC's Jorge Bartoleme started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Patricio Lizardi kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Victor Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Bartoleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zaparinqui AFC's Jorge Bartoleme got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Jorge Bartoleme put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Cortez. Jorge Bartoleme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Santo Licerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Faro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jorge Bartoleme took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Cortez. Pedro Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Pedro Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Bartoleme in the 36th minute of the match. Jorge Bartoleme took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Cortez. Pedro Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Jorge Bartoleme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Argina in the 43rd minute of play. Pedro Cortez came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Zaparinqui AFC's Jorge Bartoleme. But to his dismay, Jorge Bartoleme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 48th minute, Jorge Bartoleme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Faro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zaparinqui AFC were winning 2-4.

A collision led to Zaparinqui AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jorge Bartoleme hit a great ball. Roman Elija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Arixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Zaparinqui AFC's Albano Argina got a free kick in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the match, Zaparinqui AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Eneto came free, but Roman Elija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Elija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Jorge Bartoleme lined in a short shot 2-5 behind a frustrated Pedro Cortez. Mauricio Dacio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Everardo Arixo scored 3-5 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Elija, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Faro's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Bartoleme came free, but Pedro Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Emenons short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Pedro Cortez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedro Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Laurentzi in the 89th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Jorge Bartoleme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Emenon got free with Pedro Cortez in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
