When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Bermudez made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Hibai got free with Nemesio Haitz in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerardo Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Nemesio Haitz made a huge save. If Godofredo Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Caribbean Club's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Frasco came free, but Nemesio Haitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Mateo Aztore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caballo de Troya's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Aztore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Haitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godofredo Frasco struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Nemesio Haitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caballo de Troya. Caballo de Troya's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
