Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Justo Oroitz made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Eriberto Perez's Evelio Endira got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Raul Atauri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Oscar Felo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Benigno Errando charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Eriberto Perez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Defe the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Eriberto Perez:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of El Defe:s goal. The referee gave El Defe a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nicanor Nevada, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eriberto Perez's Oscar Felo. 0-3. Donato Lluis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Felo having to interfere. Justo Oroitz's late challenge caught a El Defe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Oroitz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Eriberto Perez's Justo Oroitz got a free kick in the 76th minute. Raul Atauris short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Oscar Felo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Arnulfo Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Result 0-4. When Arnulfo Mateus came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Eriberto Perez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Mateus couldn't finish the play. The Eriberto Perez supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Defe's performance. The match ended with a win for El Defe.
