Mateo Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Teofilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Teofilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Nicholas was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Gabriel Garaile didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes in the game, Severino Primo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mateo Nicholas having to interfere. Ildefonso Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Nicholas having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ildefonso Teofilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Condes Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Teofilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, El Rejunte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Teofilio came free, but Mateo Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Mateo Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Teofilio in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Severino Primo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of El Rejunte F.C's Mateo Nicholas. Mateo Nicholas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th match minute, Las Condes Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Criston to maneuver through the defense. Severino Primo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mateo Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ildefonso Teofilio in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Nicholas saved El Rejunte F.C from getting behind. Higinio Ondino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Las Condes Fútbol Club's Gilberto Uzuri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Florinio in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Ildefonso Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Anastasio Oliverio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Rejunte F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Condes Fútbol Club the free kick. When Severino Primo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Las Condes Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Primo couldn't finish the play. If Ildefonso Teofilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Honorato Luar's late challenge caught a El Rejunte F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorato Luar helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ildefonso Teofilio in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 minutes, Cristo Rodriguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Rejunte F.C and the Las Condes Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, one of El Rejunte F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Rejunte F.C. A collision led to El Rejunte F.C getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Ruben Montrell hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Las Condes Fútbol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Rejunte F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
