Leonel Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Janta FC's Anacleto Brun got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anacleto Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeronimo Nerio's late challenge caught a Janta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimo Nerio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Tello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Nerio to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Ariel Iratze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximiliano Hulberto. Janta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ariel Iratze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Maximiliano Hulberto came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tello's Omar Cai. But to his dismay, Omar Cai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Maximiliano Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Anacleto Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Janta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anacleto Brun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Herena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Cai hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Anacleto Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maximiliano Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Inautzi in the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Janta FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nestor Silvanito hit a great ball. Ariel Iratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Iratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Maximiliano Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Janta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tello were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ariel Iratze to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Zacarias Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match Haroldo Gonsalvo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonel Herena skillfully saved the ball. Anacleto Brun struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Leonel Herena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Janta FC. In the 82nd minute, Donato Inautzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donato Inautzi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Maximiliano Hulberto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Janta FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Esteve Miliano hit a great ball. Americo Isadore charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Isadore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Janta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Maximiliano Hulberto, was totally fooled by Tello's Elvio Vela, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Tello's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
