Chaqueño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fogonero the free kick. After 4 played minutes Chaqueño got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Beltran. Fogonero's Laureano Patxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Lugo in the 7th minute of play. Adan Guillelmo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Patxi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Laureano Patxi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Lugo went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Victorino Ixidor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Froila went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Fogonero's zone, Domingos Lugo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Patxi came out of the goal and Domingos Lugo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laureano Patxi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Guillelmo in the 24th minute of the match. Domingos Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Patxi having to interfere. When Domingos Lugo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Chaqueño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Lugo couldn't finish the play. Fogonero's Laureano Patxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Guillelmo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Niceto Beltran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, one of Chaqueño:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Fogonero. Haroldo Vistruario stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victorino Ixidor. 1-2. Domingos Lugo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Laureano Patxi made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Domingos Lugo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laureano Patxi having to make a save. Lázaro Erruki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Patxi having to interfere. A collision led to Fogonero getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ceferino Txartiko hit a great ball. If Domingos Lugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Patxi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Lugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Lázaro Erruki kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Haroldo Vistruario was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Chaqueño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Guillelmo to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th match minute, Chaqueño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Pasqual to maneuver through the defense. Fogonero were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Chaqueño's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Haroldo Vistruario took the corner. The supporters of Chaqueño booed when Fogonero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Cordarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Fogonero. Haroldo Vistruario stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victorino Ixidor. 1-3. Domingos Froila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Domingos Lugo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Patxi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 94 minutes into the match, Chaqueño's Everardo Pasqual broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Lugo in the 97th minute of play forced Fogonero's goalkeeper Laureano Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lázaro Erruki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Chaqueño manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Fogonero to win.
