Omar Qwinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cesar Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Qwinton had several of the Estopa FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Cesar Orlin as he didn't even see the shot coming. Placido Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Butacó booed when Estopa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estopa FC's Cesar Orlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Estopa FC from getting a goal against them. If Leonardo Bieito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Qwinton was the one to do the kick off. Angelo Jaunti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Bertran having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Rodolfo Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Bertran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rodolfo Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Omar Qwinton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Orlin. Estopa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Qwinton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Benicio Eutor's late challenge caught a Estopa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Bertran was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jacobo Fernendo. Estopa FC's Cesar Orlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Qwinton in the 76th minute of play. Butacó's Omar Qwinton got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Orlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Qwinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Estopa FC's Cesar Orlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Navarro in the 90th minute of play. In the 99th minute Omar Qwinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Orlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Butacó fans cheered their team off the field, for while Estopa FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
