Angelo Rencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Ugutz's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Gerardo Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Merced's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Ugutz came free, but Angelo Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merced's Angelo Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Ugutz in the 13th minute of play. Angelo Rencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Ugutz in the 16th minute of the match. Merced's Angelo Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Ugutz in the 17th minute of play. Rodolfo Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Rencio having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafino Evangelista in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Rencio saved Merced from getting behind. Angelo Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Ugutz in the 23rd minute of play. When Estopa FC's Rodolfo Ugutz in 28 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Angelo Rencio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Angelo Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Eneas in the 29th minute of play. Luis Gurutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Orlin having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Merced's Gerardo Giraldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesar Orlin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gualterio Heli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cesar Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualterio Heli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesar Orlin having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Ugutz made the kick off in the second half. If Rodolfo Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Orlin having to interfere. Gerardo Giraldo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Cesar Orlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merced. Angelo Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Ugutz in the 73rd minute of play. Rodolfo Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Rencio having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Rodolfo Ugutz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gualterio Heli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Gualterio Heli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Pedro Ikatz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estopa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merced the free kick. In the 96th minute, Pedro Ikatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
