Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gerardo Giraldo took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Amador Bernebe fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arcadia's protests and gave Amador Bernebe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Arcadia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Bernebe to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Rencio was a little too slow when Severino Edorta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Arcadia's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Giraldo came free, but Constantino Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Arcadia booed when Merced was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Heli didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gualterio Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Arcadia's zone, Gerardo Giraldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Dimo came out of the goal and Gerardo Giraldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute Severino Edorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Merced's goalkeeper Angelo Rencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Miliano. When Eliseo Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Merced fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Fernandes couldn't finish the play. Constantino Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Heli, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Arcadia's Constantino Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Giraldo in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, one of Merced:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Merced. Virgilio Nazario's late challenge caught a Merced's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Nazario helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Merced booed when Arcadia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Nazario didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the game, Arcadia's Ismael Miliano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Rencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 57th minute, Ismael Miliano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Rencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Giraldo in the 60th minute of play forced Arcadia's goalkeeper Constantino Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualterio Heli kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Merced's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Lico came free, but Angelo Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Merced's Constantino Dimo threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gerardo Giraldo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 78 minutes into the match, Merced's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Ireno came free, but Angelo Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Enrique Erroman in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Merced's Eliseo Fernandes. In the 81st minute, Gualterio Heli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gualterio Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Arcadia's zone, Eliseo Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Dimo came out of the goal and Eliseo Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Enrique Erroman in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Merced's Gualterio Heli. Arcadia's Constantino Dimo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Arcadia from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Arcadia had won after a very even match.
