After having played for 20 minutes, Nicasio Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fogonero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Oro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes, Feliberto Fernanco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Butacó and the Fogonero players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Butacó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. When Placido Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Butacó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Navarro couldn't finish the play. Placido Navarro scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laureano Patxi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingos Froila was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
