The crowd rose to their feet as Adan Guillelmo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Constantino Dimo. That made the score 2-1 in the 16 minute of play. Ezequiel Liberto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Arcadia's Edgardo Lico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorino Ixidor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Lico to make the kick off. Domingos Lugo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Cordairo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arcadia! Siro Ireno kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
