Spectators: 6823 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arsenio Bakar took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Arsenio Bakar came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Romang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Bakar couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Guillelmo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Mendiko saved Romang from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Chaqueño's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Bakar came free, but Victorino Ixidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Romang got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Vincente. Everardo Pasqual took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Mendiko. Romang's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Domingos Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Mendiko having to interfere. A collision led to Chaqueño getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Everardo Pasqual hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chaqueño's zone, Lucas Llanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Ixidor came out of the goal and Lucas Llanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Chaqueño's Niceto Beltran got a free kick in the 41st minute. Adan Guillelmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Mendiko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adan Guillelmo ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingos Lugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Chaqueño were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adan Guillelmo to make the kick off. Niceto Beltran hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Romang's Arsenio Bakar, in the 55th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Romang. Chaqueño were furious when Ezequiel Liberto was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Chaqueño:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Romang:s goal. Domingos Lugo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Mendiko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Chaqueño's Domingos Lugo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
