Spectators: 7037 (Terracing: 5386, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) Omar Qwinton started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Omar Qwinton fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Butacó's protests and gave Omar Qwinton a yellow card for diving instead. Omar Qwinton hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Godofredo Ponciano came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Butacó's Omar Qwinton. But to his dismay, Omar Qwinton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Omar Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Butacó's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Qwinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Ponciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Otoniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Bertran having to interfere. Placido Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Ponciano having to interfere. Placido Navarro struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Godofredo Ponciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Butacó. Diego Bertran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Rami in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute Evaristo Otoniel suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 46 minutes into the game, Carmelo Laurin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Butacó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Correa AFC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Butacó:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Correa AFC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Diego Bertran, was totally fooled by Correa AFC's Nereo Ritchie, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Rami stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godofredo Ponciano came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Butacó's Placido Navarro. But to his dismay, Placido Navarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Rafael Rami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Bertran having to interfere. Godofredo Ponciano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Qwinton's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Correa AFC's Godofredo Ponciano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Correa AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Qwinton in the 80th minute of play forced Correa AFC's goalkeeper Godofredo Ponciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Rafael Rami managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Correa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Rami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 90 played minutes Correa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Camerino. The audience held their breath when Roberto Elixio in the 92nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Godofredo Ponciano's left hand side. Butacó's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
