After 10 played minutes Fogonero got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Ferran. If Adan Guillelmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13thth minute of the game Adan Guillelmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fogonero's Laureano Patxi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Guillelmo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Patxi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Adan Guillelmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaqueño's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Guillelmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Patxi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Fogonero getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alonzo Cordarius hit a great ball. Domingos Lugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Domingos Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaqueño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Lugo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Adan Guillelmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Fogonero's Domingos Froila got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chaqueño's Adan Guillelmo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adan Guillelmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fogonero's zone, Domingos Lugo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Patxi came out of the goal and Domingos Lugo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Beltran in the 78th minute of play forced Fogonero's goalkeeper Laureano Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Froila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Patxi was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Adan Guillelmo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adan Guillelmo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2.
