Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anacleto Fernado got the match started through his kick off. Elias Senen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Ovidio Rodas made a huge save. If Marco Cidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olivos's Ovidio Rodas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Olivos from getting a goal against them. Aguilar were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Olivos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vladimiro Crispo took the corner. Aguilar's Isaias Honesto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidio Rodas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Ovidio Rodas managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Aguilar's Gustavo Brun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Elias Senen came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Aguilar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Senen couldn't finish the play. When Angelino Aballe fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olivos's protests and gave Angelino Aballe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Angelino Aballe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Olivos defense, Anacleto Fernado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Rodas. The Olivos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Rodas should have stopped the shot. Elias Senens short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Ovidio Rodas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th minute Anacleto Fernado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Rodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Oliverio hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Marco Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Pes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Elias Senen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Cidro made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Anacleto Fernado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Rodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Aguilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Senen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Aguilar booed when Olivos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Raitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Pes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Cidro in the 58th minute of play. Aguilar's Elias Senen got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anacleto Fernado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ovidio Rodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elias Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Cidro in the 68th minute of play forced Aguilar's goalkeeper Fidel Pes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aguilar's Fidel Pes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Cidro in the 70th minute of play. Angelino Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fidel Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Aguilar getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gustavo Brun hit a great ball. Anacleto Fernado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivos's goalkeeper Ovidio Rodas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amador Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Pes having to interfere. If Anacleto Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aguilar's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
