Anacleto Fernado ran back to his position shaking his head. If Elias Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Iraunkor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Senen in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute Anacleto Fernado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Aguilar fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Aguilar's Anacleto Fernado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 23 minutes of play, Aguilar's Elias Senen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carolo Iraunkor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Igor Mendebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind san lorenzo de almagro's goalkeeper Carolo Iraunkor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, san lorenzo de almagro's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Fernado came free, but Carolo Iraunkor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Fernado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Iraunkor having to interfere. If Elias Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Iraunkor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Fernado in the 43rd minute of play. Elias Senen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Aguilar's Anacleto Fernado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carolo Iraunkor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in san lorenzo de almagro's zone, Elias Senen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Iraunkor came out of the goal and Elias Senen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Claris made a kick off. Elias Senen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Carolo Iraunkor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Anacleto Fernado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Fernado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anacleto Fernado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Fernado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Iraunkor was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. If Anacleto Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Igor Mendebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Fernado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Iraunkor was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Adolfo Abeijon fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Carolo Iraunkor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Fernado, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Aguilar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
